Exhibitions

Towards the start of September 2024, my BA Design Practice class held an exhibition from September 5th 2024- September 13th 2024. Throughout this exhibition displays collage work created from risograph prints, new papers and recyclable materials creating 9 mini collage experiments along with a framed collage and acrylic panelling displaying the colourful abstract work from each individual.

Towards the end of September 2024, my BA Design Practice class held a week long exhibition displaying our summer collections. "Cheers” this 3D design portrays my summer collection which was bottle corks.
I developed various ideas by experimenting with the cork: mark making, exploring cork as a material, duplicating and layering.
The background was made by dipping the cork into ink and rolling along the canvas to create lines that represent oak cork trees. Recycling and cutting the cork, I used the word cheers to represent a toast for special days.

Towards the end of December 2023, my BA Design Practice class held an exhibition from December 12th 2023- December 22nd 2023. Throughout the process of planning and creating the creative industries exhibition, we learned about framing our work to professional standards, collaborating to complete our 3D Installation 'SPIRIT' and work together to run a pop up print shop.

Towards the start of December 2024, my BA Design Practice class held an exhibition within Cass Art Glasgow from December 3rd 2024- December 12th 2024. Throughout this exhibition displays collage work created from risograph prints, new papers and recyclable materials creating framed collage prints, acrylic panelling displaying the colourful abstract work and our 3D installation 'SPIRIT'. Alongside this exhibition we had a pop up shop displaying our prints and work produced throughout our course.

This exhibition 'Perspective' displays my HND end of year work, which was held from April 22nd 2023- May 7th 2023. This was a great experience as it was my first exhibition where it was very much independent from the framing, pricing to the final installation.

Towards the end of April 2024, my BA Design Practice class held an exhibition from April 17th 2024- April 26th 2024. Throughout the process of planning and creating the Professional Design Practice exhibition, we displayed mark making prints, cloth fabrics and wooden typographic blocks. As well as creating an A6 typographic book displaying crops of our work and created work to display in our print shop.
